Talk therapy, or psychotherapy, is the most common therapeutic approach. It involves working one-on-one with a therapist to resolve past and current trauma. It promotes emotional healing and mental wellbeing. Almost all types of psychotherapy involve developing a therapeutic relationship, communicating and creating a dialogue, and working to overcome problematic thoughts or behaviors.
CBT is a type of psychotherapy and an evidence based practice that proposes that thinking is the foundation of all behavioral patterns. In the same way as it is explained in quantum physics, the cognitive behavioral model describes
how individual perceptions alter reality and create unique experiences by creating personal interpretations about self, life, and relationships. Depending on the quality of one’s thoughts, one’s life unfolds accordingly.
CBT involves cognitive and behavioral techniques to change negative thoughts and maladaptive behaviors. The approach helps people to change underlying thoughts that contribute to distress and modify problematic behaviors that result from these thoughts.
MBCT is a type of psychotherapy that involves a combination of cognitive therapy, meditation, and the cultivation of a present-oriented, non-judgmental attitude called "mindfulness."
MBCT builds upon the principles of cognitive therapy by using techniques such as mindfulness meditation to teach people to consciously pay attention to their thoughts and feelings without placing any judgments upon them.
A coach can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. In creating these strategies, a coach targets your unique skills and gifts. By helping you to make the most of your strengths, a coach provides the support you need to achieve long-lasting change. Working with a coach could help you bridge the gap between your current circumstances and the life you’d like to lead.
A group trainer will encourage you and your organization to look at things from different perspectives and become more attentive to your talents and abilities. A trainer will also help your organization grow and become more cohesive in achieving corporate goals and strategies.
